Michele Camerlengo joins forces with Francisco Leal Valera and Peter Jones to start an ambitious humanitarian project called the Renaissun Project which aims at developing technologies that will enable the exploitation of renewable energy by remote communities in developing countries.

2010

October

Camerlengo is partnering with Ugolini to produce the next generation prototypes of the ObliqO™. These new units are going to be used in trials as well as to generate marketing material and presentations.

June

Graeme Maisey Ltd. has inititiated a collaboration with Camerlengo on the design of an innovative device for the medical industry.

JNDC Ltd. has commissioned Camerlengo the next step in the development of an innovative device for use in the retail environment.

April

The construction of new prototypes of the ObliqO™ has started. The first batch of components have been machined using the CNC routers at Kington University. The production and sourcing of the other parts are going to be carried out in the nexts weeks. Usability and structural tests will follow. Camerlengo has reached an agreement with Bohle UK for the use of Schwalbe tires and is liaising with other partners to manufacture components and perform the tests.

March

Camerlengo becomes member of The Cube, a co-working club of creative entrepreneurs based in East London.

Camerlengo revisited JNDC Ltd.’s brand identity and designed a new company website.

2009

October

Camerlengo started collaborating with JNDC Ltd., an engineering design consultancy based in Farnborough airport. The engineers at JNDC helped improving the materials used in the ObliqO™ and its technical features.

June

Camerlengo has been working on his ObliqO™ Recreational Urban Vehicle and his Renaissun™ Project (Solar Energy Micro-station for developing Countries) which were exhibited at Kingston University for the degree show, from June the 6.

Camerlengo wins the Bright Ideas award and the London Innovation Centre prize for his mobile wireless projection technology concept.

2008

Camerlengo's proposal for the Kingston College roundabout installation is shortlisted by the council with other 14 works from both Kingston College and Kingston university students. Read Surrey Comet's article.

The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce commends Camerlengo's work for the Think again project, part of the RSA Design Directions competition 2007/2008.

2007

Camerlengo takes part in the Crisis over Christmas volunteering project, with Architecture for Humanity UK.

Camerlengo wins the 2020 Living Design Award. Part of the prize is an internship at product and furniture design studio Barber Osgerby, in east London.
